It’s always amazing to me that no matter how old we get, play continues to be an important part of a healthy life. When we were kids, we all thought anything was possible. The world had yet to beat the optimism out of us. Because of that, we did amazing things. We didn’t quit, we tried new things, we pushed past failure. Play is what we lived for.
I’m reminded of the saying, you don’t stop playing because you get old, you get old because you stop playing. I feel bad for the people that look at us and our bag of discs, running around in the woods, and want us to “grow up”. They don’t know what they are missing.
