Our New In The Bag Section is Live!!!

Oddly enough, what’s in my bag isn’t a part of this section…. Yet.

I have a sickness.  That sickness goes by the name disc golf.  I just can’t seem to get enough.  One of the most remarkable symptoms of this illness is the complete obsession with discs.  More specifically than that, I am completely obsessed with what discs different people carry and why.

I have watched more in the bag videos than I care to admit in public.  I’ve tried in countless ways to dissect how to build the perfect bag.  In my 10+ years of playing, I’ve reset my lineup of discs hundreds if not thousands of times.  As part of my preparation for the GBO, I’m currently trying to finalize my lineup so I can get on with practicing with it.  More on that in another post.

As part of that preparation, I’ve been watching and rewatching a ton of pro in the bag videos. Since I was spending an obscene amount of time doing this anyway, I figured I’d gather all of the most useful videos I could find in one place.  What better place than here on the Mind Body Disc blog?

In addition to gathering the videos, I also listed out the discs individually on each video for quick reference.  This is just the first step in getting my bag building obsession onto the blog, but it’s a pretty fun one if you ask me.

So, I present to you a permanent addition to this blog.  The “Pro ITB” page.  On that page are links to manufacturer team specific pages as well as one miscellaneous one.  Those linked pages contain all of the in the bag videos I’ve been watching as of late.  Which is basically all of the current ones I could find on You Tube.

I’ll warn you now.  It is a huge time suck.  Click at your own risk.  In the bag videos are a rabbit hole of the worst kind if you are anything like I am.  But I enjoy the hell out of that rabbit hole and I hope you will too.  The link is now a permanent part of the menu bar above. Click, watch, lose track of time!

This blog is always a work in progress.  Please, please, please let me know what in the bag videos I’ve missed.  If they are a decent, sponsored player, I’d like to include them here.  I can get them added almost as quickly as you can tell me about them.

If you like features like this, please consider subscribing to the blog.  I am constantly working to bring you disc golf value and one of the best ways to do that is sending you our weekly newsletter via email.  All the cool kids already get it, why not you?
