One best practice is not to make things too complicated. Here&#039;s what I&#039;d do...

Pick a distance that you think you only make about 50% of your putts from. Now grab your stack of putters.

Let&#039;s say that distance is 20 feet (or if you don&#039;t want to measure, call it 7 steps). Putt 10 times from 6 steps, 10 times from 7 steps, and 10 times from 8 steps.

Keep track of how many out of ten you make from each spot. Repeat several times. When you get to a point where you are over 90% from your original 50% spot, move back one step. Keep doing this until you are a putting ninja!
